These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SDVsolution website and requirements-engineering software (the "Service"), provided by [Legal entity name] ("SDVsolution", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Accounts & eligibility

You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. You must be able to form a binding contract and, if using on behalf of an organization, have authority to bind it.

2. Subscriptions, trials & billing

The Service is offered on a monthly, per-editor subscription (viewers are free). Plans and prices are shown on our pricing page and may change with notice.
Free trials last for the stated period; unless cancelled, a trial may convert to a paid plan only after you provide payment and confirm.
Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. You authorize us and our payment processor to charge your payment method.
Payments are processed by a third-party processor (e.g., Stripe); we do not store full card details.

3. Fees, taxes & refunds

Fees are stated in USD and are exclusive of taxes, which you are responsible for. Except where required by law or expressly stated, fees are non-refundable. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including: reverse engineering, reselling without authorization, uploading unlawful or infringing content, attempting to breach security, or using the Service to build a competing product.

5. Your data & intellectual property

Your content. You retain all rights to the requirements, models and data you create ("Customer Data"). You grant us a limited license to host and process it solely to provide the Service.
Our IP. We retain all rights in the Service, software and documentation. No rights are granted except as expressly set out here.
Export & deletion. You may export your Customer Data; on termination we make it available for a limited period, then delete it per our retention policy.

6. Confidentiality

Each party will protect the other's confidential information and use it only to perform under these Terms.

7. Service availability & changes

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service unless a separate SLA applies (Enterprise). We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. SDVsolution's quality gate and standards features support your engineering process but do not constitute certification or a guarantee of compliance; conformance and certification remain your responsibility.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Term & termination

These Terms apply while you use the Service. We may suspend or terminate for breach or non-payment. You may stop using and cancel at any time.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [State/Country], without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes are subject to the courts of [venue].
